LibreCommeLair: "Summer 2009 : LibreCommeLair (LCL) opens a free creative commons sound bank filled by the artists who collaborated or released on the label. To spread the new, LCL decides to organize a remix contest based on the sound bank. Some musicians remixed one track, some mashed up two, others mixed up several and one even used all the samples in the same track (guess wich one) !
Early 2011 : after monthes of dilemna, a jury composed of Netaudio and Creative Commons music actors makes a selection of the contest entries. This Jury is composed by FreeMusicArchive (U.S.), Notheen (Hungary), Subflow (France), DivergenceFM (France), INQ (Spain), netwaves (Belgium), Netaudio Berlin (Germany), AQuietBump (Italy), iD.EOLOGY (Germany) and Dogmazic (France).
Here is their selection, casted into the form of a dense and impetuous compilation of 10 sonic candies browsing a wide musical spectrum. Dub, reggae, d'n'b, hip hop, electronica, all for your aural pleasure !"
LibreCommeLair is your quality netlabel with lots of free dub, reggae, ragga, dubstep, world, electronic fusion, hip hop, ... netwaves is honoured and happy for the participation as member of jury in this project.
update: dingen lijken niet wat ze zijn, mn. elk bericht ivm. Sabam komt over als een aprilgrap, maar soms is het een echte aprilgrap; zo ook het bericht hieronder dat voor de helft waar is (akkoord met TLV), maar voor een deel ook verzonnen, nl. dat van die vierkante meter (met dank aan Basta!) en dat van die dove truckers. Hope you enjoyed it!
Vorige week was er enige�commotie�nadat Sabam bekend maakte dat transportbedrijven ook voor hun vrachtwagens een muziekheffing moesten betalen. Volgens Sabam is een vrachtwagen het verlengde van de 'werkvloer', en een bedrijf met meer dan 9 werknemers moet voor muziek betalen op de werkvloer.
Na gesprekken tussen Sabam en�TLV is er een akkoord. In dit akkoord wordt bepaald dat�een vrachtwagen wordt gelijk gesteld aan een fulltime werknemer, en mag afgetrokken worden van het aantal werknemers, zodat de regel pas telt voor bedrijven vanaf 10 ipv. 9 werknemers. Verder werd er ook bekomen dat vrachtwagens waarvan de oppervlakte van de stuurcabine kleiner dan 1 vierkante meter bedraagt, vrijgesteld worden van deze heffing. Ook werd in samenspraak met de Federatie van Vlaamse DovenOrganisaties (FEVLADO) bekomen dat dove vrachtwagenchauffeurs evenmin vallen onder deze regeling.
