netwaves.bpm: new concept

After 2 years of fruitful cooperation with the nice people of pub AperO in Leuven (be), our cooperation has changed in favor of our individual new projects.
For netwaves.bpm this means it's resourcing itself to the old-skool way of making mixes in the radio station studio with core material . What's more: netwaves.bpm now sees the opportunity to send invitations to international deejays/producers to create netwaves-flavored mixes/productions which will be broadcasted every wednesday at 23:00-01:00.

Stay tuned on the new Scorpio website to come (2011-01-01) or the stream.

old punks go CC

Listen to the 3rd and last release 'Count Your Blessings' (1987-1989) by not-so-legendary old punk-band Transmitters, now available under cc:by-nc-nd license, and distributed by Portuguese netlabel with the funny name 'You are not stealing records'.

Spread the word and tunes, or as YANSR advises:
"Feel free to share with friends, listen at home, work or jail. If you play our music as a DJ in a club and a copyright mafia guy asks you for money we both are being stolen. As Lawrence Ferlinghetti would say, to those motherfuckers we "raise our middle finger, in the only proper salute""
