Monotonik, one of the icons of netlabelism, quits the scene, maybe permanently. After 219 releases Simon decided to put Monotonik and its sister label Mono211 in the fridge: "The landscape has completely shifted. The concept of a virtual label still has some value, and if I had more time, I�d like to explore that further.
